Design engineering

Design engineering is one person designing the interface and writing its production code, with no handoff between them.

Designed to feel right.
Built to actually work.

Try the density, switch the theme, open the handover. The decisions are in the component, so they travel with it.

A good handover
leaves nothing hidden.

The components, the decisions, and the details your team needs to keep building.

One component. Two densities. Both themes.Try it with your keyboard.

You, probably

Your team has designers and engineers, but the shipped interface still falls short of the design. We close that gap in working components.

Not you, yet

If you are still deciding which product to build, start there. A design system cannot make that decision for you.

  • Design systems

Shared tokens, components, and documentation, with governance across products and migration when frameworks change.

  • Product design

Research, information architecture, and interaction design, tested on real user flows.

  • Accessibility

WCAG 2.1 AA, with contrast, focus, keyboard access, and screen-reader semantics audited before release.

Fixed fee, agreed before work starts. You keep everything below.

  1. 01The repository, on your infrastructure and domain.
  2. 02Documented tokens and components another engineer can extend.
  3. 03An accessibility audit with findings and fixes.
  4. 04A recorded walkthrough of the system and its limitations.
Do you work in our design tool or yours?
Yours. The design system belongs where your team already works.
What happens to the components when the framework changes?
Migration is included in the engagement. Tokens remain the stable foundation; components can be replaced.
Is accessibility a separate line item?
No. WCAG 2.1 AA is included. We audit contrast, focus order, and keyboard paths with assistive technology before release.
Do you deliver designs or working components?
Both. We design the interface and build the production components ourselves.
